Asset Bank

What Is the Asset Bank?

The TreCorsa asset bank is your personal library for track content. Upload custom models, buildings, signage, textures, tree sprites, road decals, and material presets directly from the editor or companion tools, then drop them into any project without re-importing files.

Uploading Your Own Assets

  • Integrated Workflows: Every creation tool (Sign Maker, Material Creator, Model Importer, Tree Maker, etc.) has a Save to Asset Bank button so you can store exports with thumbnails and metadata.
  • Supported Types: Save GLB models, trees, buildings, custom signs, decals, DDS textures, and material definitions. Each asset keeps track of its source files so you can re-download or edit later.
  • Instant Availability: As soon as you save, the asset appears in the editor’s placement menus so you can reuse it across tracks without additional uploads.

Sharing With the Community

  • Public Visibility: Mark an asset as “Request public listing” to submit it for review. Once approved, it becomes visible in the public catalog for other creators.
  • Quality & Compliance: We only approve original or properly licensed work. Publicly hosting ripped or infringing assets is not allowed and submissions that violate this policy will be rejected.
  • Attribution: Public assets display the creator name so others know who to thank when they use your work.

Using Community Assets

  • Browse & Import: Explore the public asset bank to find textures, props, and materials shared by other TreCorsa builders.
  • One-Click Add: Add public assets to your personal bank with a single click, then place them immediately in the editor or via placement tools.
  • Stay Organized: Tag and search assets within your bank so large libraries stay manageable.

Best Practices

  • Provide clear names, categories, and descriptions so you can locate assets quickly while building.
  • Include clean thumbnails—exports capture one automatically, but you can retake them for better readability.
  • Keep assets lightweight: merge meshes, remove unused materials, and trim textures before uploading to ensure fast exports.
