Exporting Your Track
Once you're happy with your track, you can export it for use in Assetto Corsa. TreCorsa generates a complete, ready-to-use track package.
Export Formats
TreCorsa offers two export options:
- Export ZIP (Full Track) - Complete track package including:
- KN5 file (track geometry)
- Textures (road, terrain, satellite overlay)
- Track configuration files
- Preview images
- Map and outline images
- Export KN5 - Just the track geometry file (requires login)
Export Settings
Before exporting, you can configure:
- Track Name - The name that will appear in Assetto Corsa
- Direction - Clockwise or counter-clockwise
Installing Your Track
- Export your track as a ZIP file
- Extract the ZIP file
- Copy the track folder to your Assetto Corsa
content/tracks/directory - Or simply drag the ZIP file into Content Manager - it will handle the installation automatically!
Saving Your Work
Logged-in users can save tracks to their account:
- Use the Save button to save your current track
- Use the Load button to load previously saved tracks
- Saved tracks are stored in your account and can be accessed from any device
- You can also publish tracks to make them available in the Browse section
Important: If you're not logged in, your track exists only in your browser session. Be sure to save regularly, especially before closing the browser!
Tips for Export
- Test your track in Assetto Corsa before publishing
- Make sure spawn points are placed correctly (they're added automatically along roads)
- Check that track boundaries and walls are properly configured
- Verify that road directions and camber feel natural
