Export & Download

Starting a New Export

Click 🚀 Start New Export to open the export wizard. The wizard guides you through the options below before sending the job to the queue.

Export Formats

Choose your output format at the top of the wizard:

  • Full ZIP – Complete package with KN5, textures, config files, preview images, and map/outline assets. Roads and terrain are required for this option.
  • KN5 Only – Download just the KN5 model files. Perfect for quick iterations when you already have the rest of the folder in place.
  • ext_config.ini – Use the dedicated INI button to download the latest config file for the currently saved track.

You can also export a standalone GLB preview directly from the wizard footer.

Advanced Options

  • Update all object positions – Reprojects every placed object (trees, walls, props, lights) onto the latest terrain. Enable after major terrain edits.
  • Pack textures – Embeds textures directly in the KN5 file. Disable this if you want the external texture folder.

What to Include

Select exactly which asset groups to include in the export:

  • Roads / Terrain / Kerbs – Always included for ZIP exports; optional for KN5-only.
  • Walls, Rocks, Objects, Trees, Lights – Toggle each category on or off. When enabled, you can optionally split them into separate KN5 files.
  • Large projects automatically force certain categories (e.g. more than 2,000 trees or 20 walls/objects) into separate KN5 files. The wizard marks these requirements for you.

Managing Your Export Queue

  • Use the Cancel button in the wizard to go back to the Export Center without starting a job.
  • Once an export finishes, download the ZIP or any individual KN5 files right from the list.
  • Each entry shows when it was created (e.g. “5m ago”) so you can track recent runs.

Export Settings

Before exporting, set the core details that appear in Assetto Corsa:

  • Track Name – Display name inside the game and Content Manager.
  • Direction – Choose clockwise or counter-clockwise for default session rotation.

Installing Your Track

  1. Export your track as a ZIP file
  2. Extract the ZIP file
  3. Copy the track folder to your Assetto Corsa content/tracks/ directory
  4. Or simply drag the ZIP file into Content Manager - it will handle the installation automatically!

Saving Your Work

  • Use the Save button to save your current track
  • Use the Load button to load previously saved tracks
  • Saved tracks are stored in your account and can be accessed from any device
  • You can also publish tracks to make them available in the Browse section

Important: If you're not logged in, your track exists only in your browser session. Be sure to save regularly, especially before closing the browser!
