Start & Pit Positions

Start and pit positions define where cars spawn on your track and where they enter the pits. TreCorsa automatically generates these positions based on your road layout and player count settings.

Setting Player Count

You can configure how many players your track supports (1-16 players):

  • Adjust the Player Count setting in the track settings panel
  • The system automatically generates the appropriate number of start positions and pit positions based on this setting
  • Start positions are placed along your roads, spaced appropriately for a racing grid
  • Pit positions are generated to match the number of start positions

Moving Positions

You can move start and pit positions to customize their placement:

  • Moving as a group - Select and drag to move all start positions or all pit positions together, maintaining their relative spacing
  • Moving individually - Click on a specific start or pit position marker to select it individually, then drag it to reposition just that one

This flexibility allows you to position the grid exactly where you want it on your track layout, whether it's a straight section, before a corner, or in a specific pit lane area.

Hotlap Start Position

The hotlap start position is used for time trial and hotlap sessions:

  • Positioning - The hotlap start should be placed a bit before the main start/finish line
  • Why? - This positioning allows you to reach full speed by the time you cross the start/finish line, giving you a proper flying lap start

Like start and pit positions, the hotlap start can be moved to find the ideal position for your track layout.
