Water planes tool: Add lakes and rivers to your tracks
You can now add water features directly in the editor with the new water planes tool. Whether you want to create a lakeside circuit or add a river crossing, the process is pretty straightforward.
How it works
The workflow is simple: first use the terrain brush to carve out the area where you want water - dig a depression for a lake or create a channel for a river. Then switch to the water tool to place a water plane that fits your carved terrain.
The water plane can be moved, scaled, and adjusted vertically so it sits naturally in your terrain. You can make it slightly below ground level for a more realistic shoreline effect, or keep it flush with the surface for different looks.

CSP shader integration
The water uses Custom Shaders Patch features to look realistic - you get proper reflections, transparency, and surface effects that respond to lighting conditions. This means the water will look great in different weather and time of day settings.
Keep in mind this relies on CSP's water shader, so it won't display properly in vanilla Assetto Corsa.
